Of the approximately 17,000 nursing homes in the United States, thousands of these provide excellent, high quality care for aging adults. Texas nursing home abuse
The family of a 94-woman, who was a resident at Green Acres Parkdale Nursing Home filed a lawsuit against the nursing home saying that his legs were amputated because of negligent care. The woman had been a resident of Green Acres Parkdale since 1995 and suffered a hip fracture after falling in 2003. While in a local hospital, he developed pressure ulcers and blisters on his legs and heels.
When she was returned to Green Acres Parkdale with sores and blisters on the bed, nursing home staff failed to monitor and treat your condition and prevent infection. Illinois nursing home abuse
In 2007, the Pleasant Hill Villa nursing home was fined $ 25,000 by the state over allegations of abuse against residents. Florida Nursing Home Abuse

The nursing home made no effort to protect residents of other residents of this potentially dangerous. The family sued and won $ 750,000 damages.
